Zuma Beach. 5:30pm. March. I went to the beach to take photos of the small wavelets that rippled up on the shoreline. I wanted to freeze the action of the splashing so the architecture of the forms would be obvious. Zuma was our beach as teens, so it was definitely one I wanted to paint.
